The AVID Program is designed to increase schoolwide learning and performance by ensuring that all students, especially traditionally underserved students in the middle, succeed in a rigorous curriculum, enter mainstream activities of the school, and increase their enrollment in four-year colleges. Ultimately, AVID provides scaffolding, a social and academic structure to support students as they work to succeed.

Mission Statement: AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
